Many say that there’s no better feeling than floating in air or being free; things felt while dancing. So what could be better than these euphoric feelings dancing provides? How about the feeling of making a difference by raising money while raising awareness for an important cause… while dancing? Well that is exactly what the Non-profit group LLC (Lights. Camera. Cure.) is all about.

A volunteer run non-profit organization, lights camera cure holds a fundraiser each year to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research and support. The money raised will go to the Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and funds at the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA.

There are various ways to contribute. From buying a ticket to the Hollywood Dance Marathon, to becoming fully involved in fundraising by joining the Thrill the World Los Angeles dance team. In doing so, you’ll learn Michael Jackson’s Thriller choreography, then perform it with the rest of the group as each participant works toward their individual goals of raising $300, starting from the initial donation of $30.

The Hollywood Dance Marathon is this weekend, March 21st at 1:00 pm at the Avalon in Hollywood. So hurry to www.lightscameracure.com to volunteer, donate, or simply get more information. Those interested in doing the choreography with the team will need to enter the password ttwlacharity on the “team options” section in the “dance marathon” tab, under “sign up to dance”. Whether you dance, donate or just show up and cheer on the participants, just think about how good it will feel to lend a helping hand and dance for a difference!
