Most often times we tend to think of reporters as serious, intense and straight faced. Considering that most of them have to report such serious and at times heartbreaking news, and are also bound to being impartial and reporting the facts while expected to leave their emotions out of it – it’s no wonder why so many fall so easily into that stoic role.

So it’s no surprise that some of the most popular reporters, namely those who’ve gone on to become top anchors for popular news magazine shows (Oprah, Kelly Rippa and Lisa Ling to name a few), are those who show some emotion, personality and allow us to connect with them on some level thereby bringing us in closer to themselves and the story.

So then what could top seeing a reporter smile, cry or laugh? Dancing of course! Let’s take a look at some of these reporters who have made moves in the right direction!
