Aubri SiebertAubri Siebert began her dance training as many girls do at the age of 3. And, although life moved on, her love for dance never faltered. During her college years she continued to pursue her love for movement. Aubri Siebert currently holds a B.A. and a M.F.A. in dance from the University of California, Irvine. Her studies during her years in the Masters program at UCI were focused largely on the merits of collaborative learning within the dance studio. She discovered through this study that her love for dance art was heightened when paired with the study of pedagogy. Sharing movement knowledge with others became a deep passion for her.
As a teacher Aubri has had the joy of teaching many ages, levels, and movement styles. Aubri Siebert has been a part of the Atomic family since 2004, teaching everything from waltz, salsa, and lindy hop. One of her greatest joys at Atomic is assisting wedding couples with their first dance. Helping them make their special day even more special through dance. She is also currently an Associate Professor at MiraCosta College teaching ballroom, latin and contemporary dance forms. In 2004 she also had the privilege to travel to Taiwan to teach a
Lindy Hop workshop and in 2009 will be teaching and performing in Korea.
As a performer, Aubri has worked with choreographers both nationally and internationally. She has performed at many venues such as Disneyland, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and the Seongnam Arts Center. She is currently performing as a guest artist with Loretta Livingston & Dancers, a L.A. based contemporary dance company. Performing with Ms. Livingston has given Aubri the opportunity to also work with Dr. Sam-Jin Kim, Professor of Choreography at the Korea National University of Arts.
