Farah
Farah is well known for her talents as a master performer/ choreographer/ instructor and founder of one of the most popular belly dance groups in Orange County, "Farah's Mirage". She is especially requested for her authentic Turkish style that is not mixed with other forms of dance. She has performed for celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russel, Steve Martin, John Stamos, Sally Fields, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and many more. Farah learned how to belly dance in Turkey from the great belly dance legend herself, Nesrin Topkapi. Farah went on to perform at the elegant 5 star show case "The Orient House" in Beyazit, Istanbul and worked with famous dancers such as Burchin Orhan and Birgul Beray. Like all famous Turkish dancers, Farah prefers performing in high heels to keep the dance high class, glamorous and sexy rather than folkloric and tribal. Farah has taken her Turkish influence and combined it with the Egyptian style she learned from Angelika Nemeth and developed a Turkish/ Egyptian style that is both elegant and sensual. The only thing Farah enjoys more than performing is teaching others to perform. Her goal is to give all of her students the self-confidence needed to reach her full potential as a Diva/ goddess.
