Reza Zargari began his dancing career at age 5 with his brother and their friend in their garage dancing to oldies, Hip Hop and Middle Eastern music. At age 13 or 14 he began going to all-ages swing clubs around Orange County where he found a taste for partner dancing.
Reza graduated from high school two years earlier than his peers and enrolled at Fullerton College for dance: while at the same time landing a job at the famous Arthur Murray dance studio where he promptly got his certification to teach Ballroom and Rhythm dancing.
In his 10+ years of teaching since he has competed professionally and with various students; created a hip hop influenced partner dance called "Free Rocking,"; taught hip hop, Persian, and belly dancing; not to mention Ballroom, Latin and Argentine tango to students of all ages. He was also the proprietor for A Global Rhythm Dance Studio in Huntington Beach for over 4 years before he successfully sold it to another eager business owner.
After a short break to get married, and develop his career as a writer, Reza found that he couldn't stay away from the exciting world of dance any longer and can now be seen for instruction at ATOMIC Ballroom throughout the week.
